Mrs Clare Mee
I have been a primary teacher for twenty years; in the state sector for three years in a small primary school in Berkshire then seven years at a large junior school near Farnham. I have been at The Royal School for ten years teaching across Key Stage 2 so I bring a depth of experience, and as I'm still very much in the classroom I feel I can relate to both staff and pupils when considering the benefits and challenges of working in education at the current time.
My role on the leadership team at The Royal Prep School is teaching and learning focused; I am responsible for the academic progress and attainment of all the pupils. With a Masters in English and Creative Writing, I also take care of the English curriculum and the extra-curricular opportunities that go alongside it; I am passionate about children’s literature and developing a lifelong love of reading in young people.
We have lived in the village since 2015 and have three children.
