I started my role as Headteacher at Fernhurst Primary School in September 2020. Prior to this I was Head of Schools at a two-form entry Federation in Hampshire. I have taught in every year group in different schools including two in the Rother Valley.  Before my life in schools I was a nursery manager and ran a SEND scheme in Herefordshire.  I have been a Governor in three different schools and have provided outreach support to other schools with Mathematics in two counties.

I have always had a passion for education and firmly believe that every child can make good progress when they are given the right tools to do so.  I am fully committed to ensuring that the children at our school have a happy and safe environment where they can learn and achieve their full potential.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, going to the theatre and reading.
