Children are encouraged to wear school uniform for practical reasons and to develop a sense of belonging to the school community.
Most school uniform items, both branded and unbranded, can be purchased from our online supplier at http://www.schoolwearforless.com/. We hold a small stock of branded uniform in the school office but sizes and availability is limited so we do recommend using the online supplier where possible.

Children should wear sensible school shoes. Trainers, boots, high-heeled shoes, platform-soled shoes or strappy sandals are not suitable footwear. Children may bring in trainers/wellies to wear at break times, these may be any colour.
All classes do PE regularly throughout the week and all children should always have a full PE Kit in school. This should be taken home every Friday for washing and returned the following Monday. For safety reasons jewellery and watches must be removed during PE Lessons. PE Kit should include:
House T-shirt (please contact the office if you are unsure of what colour to purchase)
Tracksuit for colder weather
Plimsolls (or trainers for older years)
If there are special circumstances why your child cannot take part in a PE lesson, they must bring a note explaining the reason.
Jewellery & Hair
Children should not wear jewellery, other than watches or a single pair of stud earrings, at school. Children must be able to remove their earrings without help for P.E. Children with long hair need to wear it tied back throughout the school day. Hair accessories should be uniform colour (green, grey, white), small in format and plain or very gently patterned.
Please ensure all items of footwear and clothing are clearly named.
